Abstract：With the rapid progress made in high power white LED development in the areas of performance improvement and cost reduction, the adoption of the LEDs for general lighting has accelerated over last few years. This presentation will provide an overview on the technologies under development at Philips Lumileds that will drive the improvement of high power white LEDs in the areas of flux, efficiency, color control and color quality and reliability first, then introduce a series of high power white LEDs developed at Philips Lumileds for indoor and outdoor lighting applications.
