The ICSNN-2010 website is now open for abstract submission and online-registration! 

The 16th International Conference on Superlattices, Nanostructures and Nanodevices (ICSNN-2010) is taking place in Beijing,  China, from July 18 to July 23, 2010 at the Beijing XiJiao Hotel.

The conference language will be English. All original contributions will be arranged in form of plenary, invited, oral and poster presentations with parallel sessions.

Early registration is only possible before 1st June, 2010.  You can also book your hotel through the online form.

The International Conference on Superlattices, Nanostructures and Nanodevicesis a series of biennial meetings that began in 1984 as a satellite meeting of the main forum in the field, the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors (ICPS). The previous issues of ICSNN were held in: 2008( Natal ), 2006 ( Istanbul ), 2004 (Cancun), 2002 ( Toulouse ), 2000 (Kyongju), 1998 ( Cairo ), 1996 (Liege), 1995 ( Cincinnati ), 1994 ( Banff ), 1992 (Xian), 1990( Berlin ), 1988 ( Trieste ), 1987 ( Chicago ),1986 (Gothenburg), 1984 (Notre Dame).

In line with the previous conferences, ICSNN-2010 is a continuation of the efforts by the research community to highlight contributions from young scientists in this field and to explore non-conventional ideas in these areas that often get insufficient attention in many conferences. The conference covers new phenomena in the physics and technology of superlattices, nanostructures and nanoscale devices:

　　？ Nanoelectronics-single electronics, new transport phenomena in nanostructures, carbon nanotubes and graphene
　　？ Nanophotonics and quantum optics in single quantum dots, photonic band gap materials and microcavities
　　？ Semiconductor nanospintronics, spin manipulation in nanostructures, magnetic/semiconductor hybrid nano-systems
　　？ Terahertz physics and devices
　　？ Solid state quantum information
　　？ Emerging materials and devices: nanoelectronics in bio-systems, hybrid organic semiconductor systems, molecular systems and devices, bio-semiconductors
　  ？ Electronic and optical properties of wide-gap semiconductors 
　  ？ Coherent and incoherent composiste superlattices
